Lately I am prototyping some much smaller items to Lately I am prototyping some much smaller items to keep the primal belongings close. Real close. These pouches are only for your phone & wallet. Though on the metal ring you can connect your keys and wear it keycord style.
The pouch is made with all leather scraps, even the thread is reclaimed.

The necessity is born from my daily struggle of running around the workshop and lacking proper pockets in my day to day outfits to keep my phone and wallet on me. Now I can just grab this one in the morning and have a worry less.

What does your work floor look like? How do you keep your phone and wallet on you? Do you also loose your stuff because you put them down randomly and then forget? Would you use a pouch like this? Write me, I'm curious โ˜บ๏ธ

Time has come to leave Eindhoven and head back to Time has come to leave Eindhoven and head back to the north. I had a great Dutch Design Week and met many amazing designers and visitors, I got a fine, I lost my voice over karaoke and gained weight eating worstenbrood everyday. To finish the week in style I just collected a sweet box of discarded YKK zippers from the local uniform-tailor. The company told me that they used to sew parkas, but since they quit the design the designated zippers were collecting dust over the past years. So win win!
I'll be back in my atelier from tomorrow onwards, if a bag has caught your eye in the exhibition or you're inspired with the colour and texture samples: hit me up and I'll make it happen! See you, Jana

In preparations of the exhibition I made several l In preparations of the exhibition I made several little sleeping bags from a old sleeping bag. Why?? ๐Ÿค”
Because I need something to support the bags for 9 days during the exhibition and decided this is the solution. ๐Ÿ˜Š It's light, it's volumous and did I mention recycled? The small sleeping bags will be used as filling and will not be visible, so that's a secret right there. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I love to create things purely based for their function, the outcome can be anything really. See you soon at Pennings Foundation during the Dutch Design Week.

Badem bags are made with reclaimed tarpaulin from Badem bags are made with reclaimed tarpaulin from the Rรผhr industry. The design of the bag is minimal to ensure another round of recycling is an option because the tarpaulin will most likely outlive its life as a bag. When you return your finished Badem bag to the atelier, the tarpaulin can be reused to create smaller pouches with.

This cycle also addresses our desire to hold on to items we don't use but have a lot of memories with. Now you can trade your broken bag for a pouch made from your bag.
